Where to find sheet music

YOUR LOCAL MUSIC STORE - for my La Crosse-area students, Leithold Music and SSE both carry a number of "standard repertoire" books, as well as a lot of the music used for high school Solo and Ensemble festival.

Classical Vocal Reprints - Glendower Jones is a treasure, and if you can't get a particular score/book from him, he'll tell you where to find it!

IMSLP is an amazing resource for public domain or otherwise freely-shared scores. Depending on where you live, what is and is NOT considered public domain may change - always go the legal route!

CPDL - also a library of public domain music, which includes many solo vocal scores (downloadable!). This site ALSO provides a number of word-for-word translations of non-English texts, and in some cases MIDI or other audio renderings of scores.

In a pinch...Scribd has a surprising number of scores available. If you're waiting for a piece to come in the mail, or want to "preview" a work, you may be able to find it here.

LMGTFY - If you can't find it in the above ways, try entering name of score - composer name - sheet music - pdf into a search engine window, and see what comes up!
