Quince is in the middle of a fall tour - concerts still to be caught in St. Louis, Kansas City (MO), and Omaha. Tons of new rep, and some "old" favorites. . .check these folks:
Jamie Leigh Sampson
And for Omaha, where we'll be joined by soprano Sara Perez:
As always, singing with the ladies of Quince (Aubrey von Almen, Amanda DeBoer Bartlett, and Kayleigh Butcher) has proved a highlight to my year - exciting developments in our spring repertoire shall be announced soon. . !
This week brings to Bowling Green a wealth of performers, thinkers, and performances of new music - the 2012 BGSU New Music Festival is here!
Check out at least one of the concerts, if you're able - this year features an especially wide range of excellent compositions.
Every year, Bowling Green hosts this vibrant gathering of minds from across the world - and this year, the guest artist is John Luther Adams, called "One of the most original musical thinkers of the new century" by author Alex Ross.
More to come - must go rehearse!
Hi, I'm Liz (some folks call me Elizabeth) - soprano, multi-instrument experimenter, and member of Quince.
